"Holding Higher Standards"
          Established in 2003

The SABA is the ONLY ASSOCIATION that offers working, OB, and temperment testing for the Boerboel, and the only to have a breed club Championship. Knowone has the staff behind their organization to truly test proper working ability of a dog. The SABA has licensed judges from other rare breed associations to judge conformation and that are truly educated about the Boerboel and it's history, judges for working that have put working titles on dogs in Shutzhund, weight pull, obedience, protection tournaments, etc. The other associations have NEVER put any of these titles on a dog, so how can they properly judge your dog to put a working title on it? The SABA has the qualified staff to do this. Why send your money to register your dogs and your customers who is offering you nothing but registration papers and a pedigree, your puppy buyers want to show off their new puppy, they want to get together at events and shows, and meet other Boerboels.

Welcome to the SABA Website. Our goal is to register quality Boerboels and improve the breed by testing the dogs working, temperment, and overall structural soundness.

We also offer conformation shows with a point system to obtain an actual Breed Club Championship under judges who know the Boerboel breed and will be judging the dog according to standards. We have no strict rules as to showing, your dog not need to be professionally trained and you do not need to hire a handler. We will be here to help you in everyway. There will also be a variety of working, weight pull, tracking, and obedience tests offered by local clubs hosting shows and events. Get a Local Club started in your area, we have all the info needed to start one, submit it to us and we will add it to the site so people can know where there is a club in their area.
The SABA's long term goal is to provide the Boerboel Community with Good Breeders, Local Clubs and Shows, be a full information source, and be here to answer your questions. Remember, you do not HAVE to show your dog, work, or have advanced training to register your dogs, we understand people have busy schedules and lives outside of dogs, you can still register your Boerboel.
